One of the most anticipated Disney + series, “ Hawk and Winter Soldier, ” is set to feature a new Captain America for Marvel fans, following the retirement of Steve Rogers, played by Chris Evans.
This possibility has been suggested since the iconic finale of ‘Avengers: Endgame’, when Rogers gave his shield to his great friend Sam Wilson, before retiring.
Plus, even a member of the tech crew for the upcoming MCU series even revealed that Anthony Mackie will be Marvel’s “Black Captain America”. But will that really happen in “Falcão e Soldador Wintervernal”?
According to Mackie, it’s still uncertain to say. In an interview with SiriusXM’s radio show The Jess Cagle Show, the Falcão performer deepened the possibility:
“No, we don’t know yet. The idea for the series is basically this: at the end of Avengers: Ultimatum, Cap decides he will retire and he asks me if I would take his shield, but at no point did I agree with that. that or said I would be Captain America. Therefore, the series follows the line of who will get the shield and who will be Captain America if Steve does not return ”.
Following the events of ‘Avengers: Endgame’, Sam Wilson / Falcon and Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier team up on a global adventure that tests their skills – and patience – in ‘Hawk and Winter Soldier’.
Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan play the roles of their respective starting characters. Emily Van Camp, Daniel Brühl and Noah Mills complete the cast.
American television veteran Kari Skogland will be responsible for directing all six episodes.
