Marvel Studios has released a new promo for ‘Hawk Archer’ with interviews with Jeremy Renner and the team behind the series reflecting on the hero’s trajectory.
“Clint Barton is one of the original six Avengers,” Renner explains. “And through this series, we can share everything about who Clint Barton is in a very moving way… It has been an exciting and exciting journey, and it’s hard to assess what that means for my career. But when I think about MCU and my experiences playing this character, it becomes so much more of a personal journey. And I can’t wait to see where it takes me.
Director Rhys Thomas added that:
“’Gavião Arqueiro’ is appealing because there is a feeling that this ordinary guy is motivated by this sense of justice, more than anything. He does not have superpowers and yet he is not afraid of the threats that hang over him. I find it interesting that you join him in this plot, when he has essentially found the peace he has always wanted. But you know that price has been paid in blood and tears.
For producer Brad Winderbaum “Clint has always been the human face of the Avengers. He has all this weight on his shoulders and I think a lot of people can relate to him.

Disney + and Marvel Studios invite you to an unexpected end-of-year getaway with ‘Gavião Arqueiro’, a new series set after the New York City crash. Former avenger Clint Barton (Renner) has a seemingly simple mission: to return to his family for Christmas. Possible? Perhaps with the help of Kate Bishop (Steinfeld), a 22-year-old archer who dreams of becoming a superhero. The two are forced to work together as a presence from Barton’s past threatens to destroy more than the festive atmosphere.
In addition to Steinfeld and Renner, Florence Pugh will reprise her role as Yelena Belova, a younger version of Black Widow. Vera Farmiga (“Summon of Evil”) will take on the role of Eleanor Bishop.
Fra Fee will play a character named Kazi, possibly a reference to Kazimierz Kazimierczak, better known as the Mercenary Evil Clown. Tony Dalton and Alaqua Cox complete the cast.
