“Heels”: wrestling series with Stephen Amell gets trailer and premiere date; Check!

On his Twitter profile, Stephen Amell (‘Arrow‘) posted the first trailer for his new TV series, titled ‘Heels’.

With its premiere scheduled for August 15 on the Starz channel, the series takes place in the world of wrestling and follows the rivalry between two brothers (Amell and Alexander Ludwig), while also arguing over who will assume their father’s legacy as that greatest wrestling fighter.

Michael Waldron (“Loki“) is responsible for the script for the series, which will star Mike O’Malley as the showrunner.

The plot follows a group of men and women who pursue their dreams in the world of wrestling. In a small community in Georgia, two brothers fight over a chance to carry on the legacy of their late father. In the ring, there is a good guy and a bad guy, characters that are difficult to interpret and also to leave behind.

The cast also includes Alison Luff, Chris Bauer, Kelli Berglund, Allen Maldonado and James Harrison.
