The world first saw Henry Cavill dress as Superman in 2013, when the star made his DCEU debut in “ The Man of Steel. ”

However, this was not the first time he wore the “S” for hope.

On her Instagram profile, Cavill celebrated International Women’s Day and honored her mother by posting a photo with her.

And most interestingly, the photo shows the star wearing a childish version of the Kryptonian costume, which proves he was born to play Superman.

In the caption he wrote:

“Today is International Women’s Day and I dedicate this post to the most gorgeous woman I know. My mother. An extraordinary, powerful, tough, intelligent, resilient, kind and caring person. This little boy on her knees has learned a lot from her about what it’s like to be a good man.
