“Horror Noire”: Horror anthology trailer that examines the relationship between the horror genre and black history

Shudder has released the official trailer for “Horror Noire”, the horror anthology that follows the acclaimed documentary “Horror Noire: A History of Black Horror”.

The video also announces the production release: October 14.

Based on the eponymous non-fiction novel by Robin R. Means Coleman, the film examines the relationship between the horror genre and black history, with interviews with various minds from the entertainment scene such as Jordan Peele (“Run!”, “Us”).

The production has six different stories: “Sundown”, by Al Letson; “The Bride Before You” by Shernold Edwards; “The Mark of Evil” by Ezra Claytan Daniels; “Fugue State” and “The Lake” by Stevens Barnes and Tananarive Due; and “Papa” by Victor LaValle.
