Originally scheduled for July, Sony Pictures has postponed the premiere of the animation “Hotel Transylvania: Transformonstrão” until October.

In the US, the sequel will now hit theaters on October 1.

Check out the trailer:

Directed by Derek Drymon and Jennifer Kluska, this will be the final chapter of the franchise.

Van Helsing’s mysterious invention, “Transformmonster’s Lightning”, spins out of control, transforming Drac and his monster friends into humans, and Johnny into a monster! In their new mismatched bodies, Drac, stripped of his powers, and an exuberant Johnny, loving life like a monster, must unite and run for a cure before their transformations become permanent.

The production will feature the returning voices of Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, Keegan-Michael Key, Molly Shannon, David Spade and Andy Samberg.

It should be remembered that the previous feature film, “Hotel Transylvania 3: Monstrous Vacation”, became Sony Pictures’ top-grossing animation, grossing $ 526.5 million.

Together, the three films in the franchise have grossed more than $ 1.3 billion.
