‘Hungry Eyes’: Jeepers Creepers strikes again in franchise reboot teaser

Franchise reboot ‘Hungry Eyes: Reborn’ (Jeepers Creepers: Reborn) has had its first teaser.

“The plot will revolve around a horror festival in Louisiana, which attracts hundreds of geeks and genre fans from around the world. Among them, Chase and his girlfriend Laine, who are forced to embark on this adventure. But as the festival approaches, Laine begins to have unexplained premonitions and disturbing visions associated with the town’s past and, most importantly, the legend of the Creepers. Soon Laine begins to believe that something supernatural has been summoned… and that she is at the center of it all.

Filmed in secret during the pandemic, the film will be the first of a new trilogy, which this time will not have the involvement of Victor Salva, after the director’s arrest for sexual abuse of minors.

Timo Vuorensola, who oversaw the films in the “Gone Mad with the Nazis” franchise, is directing the new production.

The film was written by Sean Michael Argo (‘Iconoclast’).
