The entire “Indiana Jones” franchise was launched in the Brazilian HBO Max catalog.
All four films are available on the streaming service, which includes Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” (1984), “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” (1989) and “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull ‘(2008).
Remember, the fifth film in the franchise is already in development!
The new feature film is slated to hit theaters on June 30, 2023.
The cast will bring back Harrison Ford, returning to the title role, Boyd Holbrook (‘Logan’), Thomas Kretschmann (‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’), Mads Mikkelsen (‘Hannibal’), Shaunette Renée Wilson (‘Black Panther’), Antonio Banderas (‘Dor e Glória’) and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (‘Fleabag’).
The film will be directed by James Mangold (‘Logan’).
“I’m excited to start a new adventure, working with a dream crew for any director,” Mangold told Deadline.
“When you add Phoebe, a stunning actress with a brilliant creative voice, the chemistry she will no doubt bring to our set, I can’t help but feel as lucky as Indiana Jones himself.”
Recalling that it was Steven Spielberg who decided to pass the torch to a young filmmaker, in order to bring a renewed look to the character.
John Williams will return to the soundtrack, having acted as a songwriter in all previous films.
