Recalling that the cast of the new film is formed by Boyd Holbrook (‘Logan’), Thomas Kretschmann (‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’), Mads Mikkelsen (‘Hannibal’), Phoebe Waller-Bridge (‘Fleabag’), and Shaunette Renée Wilson (“Black Panther”), as well as Harrison Ford returning to the main character.

The film will be directed by James Mangold (‘Logan’).

“I’m excited to start a new adventure, working with a dream crew for any director,” Mangold told Deadline.

“When you add Phoebe, a stunning actress with a brilliant creative voice, the chemistry she will no doubt bring to our set, I can’t help but feel as lucky as Indiana Jones himself.”

Recalling that it was Steven Spielberg who decided to pass the torch to a younger filmmaker, in order to bring a renewed perspective to the character.

John Williams will return to the soundtrack, having acted as a songwriter in all previous films.

Pending further updates, ‘Indiana Jones 5’ remains slated for July 29, 2022.
