After seven franchise films, “Invocation of Evil 3: The Order of the Demon” promises to be darker and spookier than any of its predecessors. The statement was revealed by director Michael Chaves himself (who directed “ The Curse of Weeping ”), who replaced James Wan.

“In many ways, this is the greatest movie in the Invocation of Evil universe. I showed the final version of the [atriz] Will see [Farmiga] and her husband and they agreed, and they said, “This is the darkest movie in the franchise.” He explores really dark materials. It is definitely a case where there are real consequences, there are real victims, ”Chaves told IGN.

According to Chaves, James Wan described the film as “Se7en in the universe of Invocation of Evil”.

“The third movie really takes the Warren to unknown places. As a fan of the franchise, I was honestly very nervous about breaking away from convention, breaking away from a lot of the traditional stuff, but I think what we did was really weave the language and things you’d expect from an Invocation of Evil movie – the scares, the Warrens, their relationship – and the limit in this truly new and exciting new direction. », He concluded.
