“Island of Fear”: Suspense with Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo removed from Netflix

The thriller “Island of Fear”, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo, will soon be withdrawn from Netflix’s programming schedule. Production will exit the streaming platform on January 31, 2022.

The plot is set in the 1950s. The escape of a murderer leads Detective Teddy Daniels and his partner to investigate her disappearance from a locked room in a psychiatric hospital. There, a rebellion begins and the agent will have to face his own fears.

Ben Kingsley, Emily Mortimer, Michelle Williams, Max von Sydow and Patricia Clarkson complete the cast.

Martin Scorsese is directing the film, based on a screenplay written by Laeta Kalogridis.
