‘Jack Ryan’: ‘Robocop’ actress joins series 3

The cast for the third season of the original Amazon Prime Video series “Jack Ryan” is growing and another new cast member has been announced.

According to the Deadline portal, the new cycle will feature actress Marianne Jean-Baptiste, who will play station director Elizabeth Wright. There are still no deeper details related to your character.

Nominated for an Oscar for the film ‘Secrets and Lies’, Jean-Baptiste has appeared in series such as ‘Homecoming’ and ‘Blindspot’, in addition to playing in the remake of ‘Robocop’, released in 2014.

Season 3 production still does not have a confirmed start date, but the forecast is that work will begin in 2021.

Created by Carlton Cuse and Graham Roland, the series features the protagonist of Tom Clancy’s books, but is not really based on a plot written by the author.

Jack Ryan (Krasinski) is a promising CIA analyst who follows a pattern of terrorist communication, leading to the discovery of a complex strategy that targets global destruction.

The cast also includes Wendell Pierce, John Hoogenakker, Abbie Cornish, Ali Suli, Dina Shih and Haaz Sleiman.
