“The Suicide Squad” has become DC’s top-rated film and director James Gunn is thrilled, already talking about returning to the studio after completing “Guardians of the Galaxy 3”.

Gunn is already finishing the “Peacemaker” series and has revealed that he would like to make a solo Harley Quinn movie.

“Yes, I would make a Harlequin movie. I really feel that character, and like I said before, I’ve taken a lot of comic book characters that have slightly different or not so clearly defined personalities. I really avoided very popular characters because I like to create characters. I usually don’t like playing characters that are already completely up to date, but with Harley it was a different thing. I really like the original vision of Paul Dini and felt I was able to become a Harley while writing. And it’s a terrible and wonderful place, ”he told The Hollywood Reporter.

Margot Robbie is already thinking about the next anti-heroine film.

In an interview with Comic Book, the star once again said he wanted to see an adaptation showing Harley’s romantic relationship and the Age of Poison.

“Some journalists have asked me about this before, but I like that others are as excited as I am about this idea. I would love to see their relationship come to life in the movies.

The star had previously spoken to Den of Geek about it before and was pretty clear, saying Warner executives must have been running out of patience to hear him suggest the idea.

“If you read the comics you know that Hera and Harley have a very close relationship. I talk to them about it [os executivos] All the time. Seriously, they must be tired of hearing it by now, but I keep saying, “Poison Hera, Poison Hera. Come on, we gotta do this.

Villain romance is nothing new, as it was covered a number of times in the original material, including the latest Harley animation, which is currently airing on HBO Max.

Because of this, Robbie can’t wait to see this relationship in the movies.

“I can’t wait to see Harley and Poison Ivy’s relationship in the movies. It would be so much fun. So I’m going to keep harassing them. Don’t worry,” she finished.

For those who don’t know, the characters first met in 1993 in ‘Batman: The Animated Series’, in an episode titled ‘Harley & Ivy’.

In the comics, the duo’s romantic relationship was explored in the ‘Batman: Harley & Ivy’ saga, created by Ty Templeton and Paul Dini between 2007 and 2011.
