During the filming of ‘Suicide Squad‘ (2016), actor Adam Beach (who plays Amarra) revealed to ComicBookMovie that Jared Leto sent bad gifts to his ‘Suicide Squad’ teammates, including a smile at actress Margot Robbie.

“He sent a beautiful love letter to [Margot Robbie]. With a black box and a mouse inside – a living mouse, ”the actor said.

Now Leto has revealed to GQ Magazine that he never sent actress Margot Robbie presents or the mouse.

“I never gave Margot Robbie a mouse. It was not true. In fact, my present on the set was a box of Kanelbulle cake that I knew she liked. I find it very interesting how these things mysteriously come to life and spread so quickly, ”he said.

However, at the time of filming, it was revealed that the rat was actually given as a gift and ultimately adopted by director Guillermo del Toro (“Hellboy”).

The director revealed during an interview on the website that costume designer Kate Hawley, who he worked with on ‘Circle of Fire,’ approached him and said Leto introduced a castmate. with the mouse, which would be thrown into the sewer.

“She knew our family loved mice. In fact, almost all animals. The rat lives with us in Toronto and he and his huge balls fill the house with joy and joy! We call him Venustiano, ”said the director.

Venustiano is a tribute to Mexican revolutionary leader José Venustiano Carranza Garza.
