And actress Tara Reid is set to return for a possible sequel to the production. The information was shared by itself in a recent interview. At the time, she also commented on how much she loves her character in “ Josie and the Kittens, ” which exudes innocence and simplicity:
“This film is perhaps one of the greatest cults ever made. Melody was my favorite character and it would be great if I could play her again ”.

Josie and the Pussycats is a musical published by Universal Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
Directed and co-written by Harry Elfont and Deborah Kaplan, the film is loosely based on the eponymous characters from the comics and cartoons Hanna-Barbera.
The film stars Rachael Leigh Cook, Tara Reid and Rosario Dawson as the kittens, with Alan Cumming, Parker Posey and Gabriel Mann in supporting roles.
In Brazil, the feature was released straight to home video.
