It has been announced by Universal that “Jurassic World: Dominion”, the latest film in the “Jurassic Park” saga, will receive an extended version on its home video release.
Indeed, the Blu-ray and digital versions will contain 14 minutes of previously unreleased material, including an alternate opening. Bonus material will include behind-the-scenes visual effects, as well as video from the film’s final night of shooting.
According to The Wrap, “Jurassic World: Dominion” will be released on home video on August 16 in the United States. It’s unclear how the launch will go in Brazil.
The plot takes place four years after the destruction of Isla Nublar. Dinosaurs now live and hunt alongside humans all over the world. This delicate balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether humans will remain the primary predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.
Colin Trevorrow returns to direct, while Emily Carmichael writes the screenplay.
