‘Justice League’: director reveals why he brought Jared Leto’s Joker back

In an interview with GamesRadar, director Zack Snyder revealed why he decided to bring Jared Leto’s Joker back in the new version of “ Justice League, ” explaining his intention to continue the narrative of the two characters.

“Adding the Joker was something I wanted to do. Weakly, the biggest conflict in a universe where Batman exists is that he faces off against the Joker. I was worried that if this was the last ‘Justice League’ movie starring Ben Affleck and Jared Leto, it would appear that I hadn’t figured out how to show this conflict.

He adds, “It was my choice to bring the Joker back to continue the story. I indicated that in ‘Batman vs. Superman ‘- when you see Batman’s weapon in the post-apocalyptic world, there’s a Joker on it. It has little to do with this concept. “

It should be remembered that the Snyder Cut of the “Justice League” will be divided into six parts.

Each part of the 4 hour event will receive different titles, such as “ Don’t Count On It, Batman ”, “ Age Of Heroes ”, “ Beloved Mother, Beloved Son ”, ‘Change machine’, ‘All the king’s horses’ and ‘Something darker’.

It should be pointed out that the film will not be released in episodes and that the division is only a stylistic strategy as in some Tarantino films, for example.

Previously, director Zack Snyder confirmed that he was in the final stages of “Justice League: Justice Is Gray Edition”, the black and white version of the film.

“I would like to make a black and white film at some point. We’re now wrapping up the black and white version of Justice League, and it’s called Justice Is Gray Edition. That’s what I call it. Justice League: Justice Edition is gray. It’s not black and white as they say (laughs). But that’s the name of the black and white version. Snyder told I Minutemen.

Snyder described what is now called Justice Is Gray Edition as the “greatest Justice League experience” and the “ideal version of the movie” because the famous Snyder Cut was edited in black and white.

“My ideal version of the film is the black and white IMAX version of the film. For me, this is the most fan-centric, purest and fairest experience in the Justice League. Because that’s how I lived with the film for two years, in black and white, ”Snyder said in a November interview for The Film Junkee.

Recalling that the film will be released in Brazil on VOD on March 18, and will last 4 hours.

In Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’, determined to ensure that Superman’s (Henry Cavill) final sacrifice is not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) teams up with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with the intention of recruit a team of metahumans to protect. the world facing an imminent threat of catastrophic proportions. The task is more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face off against demons from their own past to transcend what stood in their way, allowing them to unite and ultimately form an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their terrible intentions. “.
