The final image of the Joker (Jared Leto) in the new version of ‘Justice League‘ features the character wearing a crown of thorns and doing a pose in reference to Jesus Christ.

Director Zack Snyder may have just joked that some fans compare Leto to images of Christ.

However, it seems that the idea has not been very well accepted by the public and several Internet users are critical of the idea.

While some post their protest messages, others scoff saying that “even the Joker can’t save the movie”.

Check out the reactions:

Zack Snyder has been working with this symbology with DC superheroes since “The Man of Steel”. Now I’m sure this image of the Joker “Jesus Christ” by Jared Leto will shock a lot of people

Remembering that ‘Justice League’ Snyder Cut will be added to the HBO MAX catalog on March 18, and will run for 4 hours.

In Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’, determined to ensure that Superman’s (Henry Cavill) final sacrifice is not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) teams up with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with the intention of recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world in the face of an impending threat of catastrophic proportions. The task is more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face off against demons from their own past to transcend what stood in their way, allowing them to unite and ultimately form an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their terrible intentions. “.
