The original ‘Karate Kid’ trilogy is now available on the Netflix streaming platform. The productions debuted this Monday (01).

Launched in 1984, the franchise follows the story of Daniel LaRusso, a misfit young man who is forced to face a group of bullies as he tries to adjust to a new reality in a different city, alongside his mother. With the support of a mentor, Mr. Miyagi, he will find in karate the necessary balance not only to face school bullies, but also to face adversities that will arise throughout his life.

The franchise’s enduring success earned it a sequel, titled “Cobra Kai”. Originally produced by the streaming service YouTube, the production ended up being acquired by Netflix, due to the closure of activities on the Google platform.

The 3rd season of ‘Cobra Kai’, already released under the Netflix label, is available on the service’s programming schedule. Recalling that the series has already been renewed for its 4th season.

In the third season, they are all stunned after the violent brawl between the two dojos at the school, which left Miguel seriously injured. As Daniel revisits the past for answers and Johnny seeks redemption, Kreese further manipulates his vulnerable students with his ideas of domination. The soul of the valley is at stake, as well as the fate of all students and teachers.
