‘Legally Blonde 3’: Luke Wilson says he would like to return to the sequel

After 17 years since the 2nd film, the ‘Legally Blonde’ franchise will win another sequel with the return of Reese Whiterspoon as the charismatic Elle Woods.

However, Emmett Richmond’s interpreter Luke Wilson has yet to confirm his return, causing fans concern.

For those who don’t remember, Richmond is Woods’ romantic couple and has played an important role in previous films.

In an interview with US Weekly, Wilson was asked if he would like to return to the sequel, to which he replied:

“But of course I would. I don’t know anything about the 3rd film, I’m just as curious as the fans. All I know is they’re already writing and trying to connect it [com os anteriores], but keep everything under control. “

He continued:

“I loved working with Reese! At the time, it was even funny because children and teenagers aged 8 to 15 stopped me in the street asking me questions about Elle. I never imagined this would happen. It feels good to make a movie that people love … Making a movie that goes well is one thing, but making one that wins people over is totally rewarding, you know? And it’s a type of movie that’s passed from generation to generation. “

Apparently, the star is totally willing and to reincarnate the character, it only remains to wait to see if MGM will make the invitation.

Recalling that the long-awaited sequence should begin in May 2022.

Mindy Kaling and Dan Goor will be responsible for the script for the new sequel.

Plot details have not been released, but the new film will bring a “whole new and invigorating take” to the franchise, the first chapter of which was originally scripted by Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith and Karen McCullah.

Witherspoon recently spoke about the new chapter in an interview with ET! Online:

“Oh, that will be so much fun !. I had to go to a meeting the other day to talk about all the new plot points, all the returning characters, and the new additions. At the meeting I was already laughing and very excited. I can promise you that it will be very good, ”she said.
