‘Love and Death’: Elizabeth Olsen to star in HBO Max real crime thriller

According to Deadline, Elizabeth Olsen (“ WandaVision ”) will star in the thriller series “ Love and Death ”, developed by HBO Max.

Jesse Plemons (“The Irishman”) will also star in the production.

Created by David E. Kelley (“ Big Little Lies ”), the series will be based on the true crime of Candy Montgomery (Olsen), who brutally murdered her ex-lover’s wife in 1980.

The plot revolves around two couples attending church, with a family well integrated in their small town … until someone picks up an ax.

David E. Kelley will be in charge of the screenplay, with Lesli Linka Glatter (“Homeland”) in the direction.

Nicole Kidman will provide executive production on the project.
