‘Love and Monsters’ post-apocalyptic comedy CLOSED starring Dylan O’Brien to be released on Netflix

With Dylan O’Brien, the post-apocalyptic adventure “Love and Monsters” has finally been released in Brazil.

The film will hit theaters through Paramount Pictures, but debuts direct on Home Video (US only).

Now Netflix has CONFIRMED that it has purchased the rights to the film on the international market and will be streaming it between March and June 2021.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the feature has been opened with 90% approval, based on 38 reviews, to date.

Among the main comments, the accolades range from O’Brien’s energetic performance, to the storyline that mixes drama and adventure, to compelling special effects.

Directed by Michael Matthews, the story revolves around a hunter named Clyde (Michael Rooker), who teaches Joel Dawson (O’Brien) how to survive during a monster apocalypse – as he crosses the country in search of his beloved.

The cast also includes Jessica Henwick (‘Iron Fist’) and Ariana Greenblatt (‘The First and Only Ivan’).

Brian Duffield and Matthew Robinson are responsible for the script.
