‘MacGyver’ CANCELED by CBS after 5 seasons

CBS has officially canceled the “MacGyver” series after five seasons.

“At CBS, we are all extremely grateful for Lucas’ incredible work and dedication. [Till] and the rest of the cast, the writers and the whole crew, ”Kelly Kahl, president of CBS, said in a statement. “The MacGyver team has come a long way and saved the world time and time again with gum and a paperclip, making this series stand out from the rest. We’re happy to be able to give viewers the chance to say goodbye to their favorite characters as this series deserves. ”

The final episode of the series will air on April 30.

Created by Peter M. Lenkov, the series is a reboot of the eponymous series released in 1985.

Angus MacGyver is a resourceful young man who, in his early twenties, created an underground organization within the US government, in which he would come to work for the rest of his life, where his unorthodox methods of disaster prevention would become the refined skills. which will bring you fame and help you save lives.

The cast includes Lucas Till, Tristin Mays, Justin Hires, Meredith Eaton, Levy Tran and Henry Ian Cusick.
