‘Marry Me’: Jennifer Lopez sees a celebrity who decides to marry a stranger in comedy

“Marry Me,” a new romantic comedy starring Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson, has been released in theaters nationwide.

Universal Pictures will release the film in national theaters on May 13.

The film is directed by Kat Coiro, with a screenplay signed by John Rogers, Tami Sagher and Harper Dill.

Based on Bobby Crosby’s graphic novel, the story centers on Kat Valdez (Lopez), half of the sexiest and most powerful couple on the planet alongside Bastian (Maluma). When she finds out he cheated on her, she ends up getting involved with divorced math professor Charlie Gilbert (Wilson) and marrying him – but as the forces conspire to pull them apart, the question arises: two people can different worlds be able to ignore the gulf between them and build a unique place?

Sarah Silverman, John Bradley, Michelle Buteau, Jameela Jamil, Stephen Wallen, Jimmy Fallon and more complete the cast.
