Actress Mira Furlan, known for her roles as Danielle Rousseau in the beloved series “ Lost ” and Ambassador Delenn in “ Babylon 5 ”, died on January 20.
The announcement was made via social media by her friend and collaborator J. Michael Straczynski and, according to reports, she has been in poor health for some time.
Born in Zagred in 1955, Furlan was part of the Croatian National Theater. She was recognized in the United States with the feature film “When Father Was Away on Business,” which helped her pursue a highly successful career in theater, television and film.
In the 1990s, he got involved in North American productions and voiced the character Saber of Silver in the ‘Spider-Man’ animated series. His other credits include “NCIS” and “Law & Order”. Furlan’s last appearance was in “Burning at Both Ends,” which will be released posthumously.
