‘Moon Knight’: Ethan Hawke joins the cast of the Marvel series

The next original MCU series for Disney +, titled “ Moon Knight, ” continues to take shape, and another acclaimed actor has been announced as part of his cast.

Oscar nominee Ethan Hawke is the latest addition to the production, in a role that remains a mystery.

But according to The Hollywood Reporter, the first portal to report the news, the star must play the main villain of the series.

It’s worth mentioning that Marvel hasn’t commented on this possibility, so treat it as speculation.

Recently, actress May Calamawy was also announced as part of the cast.

Filming for “Knight of the Moon” is expected to begin in March, in the city of Budapest.

Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson (“Synchronic”) will lead the series.

Mohamed Diab will be showrunner, based on scripts written by Jeremy Slate (‘Umbrella Academy’).

Recordings will be made in Budapest and London under the supervision of director of photography Gregory Middleton.

For those who don’t know him, the Moon Knight is Marc Spector, a mercenary with diverse personalities – cab driver Jake Lockley and millionaire Steven Grant – who help him take on the criminal underworld. Soon it becomes a channel for Khonshu, an Egyptian moon god. The Moon Knight was created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin, and was introduced in Werewolf by Night # 32.
