According to The Hollywood Reporter, Zach Braff, known for his lead role in the ‘Scrubs’ series, was the latest addition to HBO’s Max Sci-Fi romantic comedy ‘Moonshot’.

Details of his role have not been disclosed.

The actor joins a full cast of Lana Condor, Cole Sprouse, Mason Golding, Emily Rudd and Lukas Gage.

Condor will play protagonist Sophie, a focused and conservative college student who has her whole life planned. At least that’s what she had, until her boyfriend decided to move to Mars, making her decide to pursue him at all costs.

The feature film is directed by Chris Winterbauer, who is making his directorial debut with “Moonshot”.

Written by Max Taxe, the plot follows two very different college friends, who end up joining forces to sneak in a spaceship to Mars, so they can join the people they love.

Condor is best known for starring in the popular Netflix original franchise “To All the Boys I’ve Loved”.
