“Morbius”: the new trailer references the Spider-Man universes of Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland

Sony Pictures has released the new trailer for “Morbius”, starring Jared Leto. And the references confused fans, as the video brings elements from the Spider-Man universes of Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland.

We have a reference to ‘Venom‘, Michael Keaton’s vulture, Tobey’s Spider-Man painted on a wall, and the Oscorp logo from the ‘The Spectacular Spider-Man’ universe.

– MCU Spider-Man Identity Revealed
– Raimi Daily Bugle logo
– TASM Oscorp logo
– Raimi Spider-Man Art
– The names “Black Cat” and “Rhino” will also appear in the Daily Bugle in the latest trailer.

Daniel Espinosa (‘Vida’) is responsible for the direction.

With a rare disease in his blood, and determined to save others who suffer the same fate, Dr. Morbius takes a desperate bet. At first, the result seems to be a great success, but the few darkness consumes the medic, who turns into a dangerous hunter.

The cast also includes Tyrese Gibson, Jared Harris and Matt Smith.
