American viewers will have to wait a little longer for the release of the long-awaited live-action “Mortal Kombat”.
Originally slated for April 16, the feature has been pushed back a week and will now open in the US on April 23, simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max.
The postponement would have taken place so that “ Godzilla vs. Kong ‘had a bit more time to shine at the global box office, having surprised his debut and grossing over $ 121 million worldwide.
In Brazil, the feature film is slated for May 13.
