‘Night of Crime 6’: Frank Grillo indicates possible return in new sequel

In an interview with Dread Central, Frank Grillo, who starred in the second and third films of the “ Night of Crime 6 ” franchise, indicated his possible return in a new streak.

“James DeMonaco and I talked about a new movie in the ‘Night of Crime’ franchise. He recently contacted me with producer Sebastian K. Lemercier, and they were like, “We’ve talked to Universal and we want your character, Leo Barnes, in a new movie in the franchise, if we can create something for it. ‘unbelievable. And I said, “ Here I am. I would definitely come back ”.”

It’s worth noting that “The Forever Purge” is being sold as the “Final Chapter” of the franchise, but apparently new footage is still a possibility.

The plot will take place after the events of ‘election year‘ and will focus on Adela (Ana de la Reguera) and Juan (Tenoch Huerta), who find refuge on a ranch in Texas, after fleeing a cartel in Mexico. Things go wrong when a group of foreigners decide to continue serving beyond the allotted time, when people can break any law.

The feature will be released in national theaters on September 2, 2023. In the United States, the film premieres two months earlier, on July 9, 2023.

The cast consists of Will Patton, Cassidy Freeman, Ana de la Reguera, Tenoch Huerta and Leven Rambin.

James DeMonaco, responsible for the screenplay for all films, will be responsible for the plot of the new feature film. The management will be with newcomer Everardo Gout.
