‘Nomadland’ wins four Critics’ Choice Awards 2021!

The acclaimed drama ‘Nomadland’ emerged victorious at the 26th edition of the Critics‘ Choice Awards 2021, winning no less than four statuettes.

Chloe Zhao continued her wave of recognition by winning the award for Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay, while the feature film was the big winner in the Best Picture category. Joshua James Richards also won the award for best photography.

Recalling that the film will soon be released in Brazilian theaters.

The film is written and directed by Chloé Zhao (“The Eternals“).

After the economic collapse of an industrial colony in rural Nevada (USA), Fern (McDormand) gathers his things in a van and sets out on an exploratory journey, out of mainstream society, like a modern day nomad. NOMADLAND, Chloe Zhao’s third film, features true nomads like Linda May, Swankie and Bob Wells as Fern’s mentors and companions on their journey of exploration across the vast landscape of the American West.

David Strathain, Linda May, Charlene Swakie and Bob Wells complete the cast.
