Recording of the ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ miniseries continues at full throttle, and while there aren’t many plot details, fans are optimistic given the massive cast of the attraction.

And, during an interview with Rotten Tomatoes, Sung Kang (“Fast and Furious 9”) commented on the enthusiasm of colleagues and staff behind the scenes.

Kang, who will bring an undisclosed character to life, said:

“The feeling I have on set is that every member of the crew relives their childhood and is like, ‘I grew up watching Star Wars. My dream was to be here and see one of the stars of the saga up close, or the character of Darth Vader or, you know, one of the Jedi walking around.

He continued:

“You look into their eyes and you see everything. No matter how old they are, it’s the guys who do my makeup and everything, the people who make the costumes and all the decorators. There’s that sense of heritage and it’s like everyone is talking about the story and why they feel so blessed for it here. So there is this story, there is this kind of shared spirit and this passion for what these characters represent.

Finally, he joked that he looked like he was in a dream and would only believe it if someone pinched him.

“I used to wear these Halloween costumes. I got one from Darth Vader and one from Luke Skywalker. Everything was put together with duct tape. And the fact that I’m on set and they put on a ‘Star Wars’ costume… Come on, man! I need someone to pinch me.
