After Warner announced that she would be releasing “ Wonder Woman 1984 ” and all of its 2021 films in theaters and streaming at the same time, director Patty Jenkins revealed to the New York Times that she doesn’t know if the franchise would continue with his third film.
“We’ll see what happens. I really don’t know. I know I would love to do the third if the circumstances were right and there was still a model to launch the film Nos Cinemas. I don’t know if I would if there weren’t, ”Jenkins said.
Executives at WarnerMedia are calling its hybrid model a one-year plan due to theaters shutting down amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I would like to believe it’s temporary, but I’m not sure I believe it. But I will tell you that some studios are going to go back to the traditional model and cause a tremendous revolution in the industry, because every great filmmaker wants and will work on it, ”Jenkins concluded.
