Paulo Gustavo was shooting a series based on “ My mother is a play ”
Actor, comedian and director Paulo Gustavo died Tuesday evening (4) of complications from Covid-19. Before being admitted, Paulo was full of projects: shooting a series based on “My mother is a play” for Globoplay and writing the fourth film in the franchise.
In the video below, recorded in December 2019, the actor revealed details of the ‘Minha Mãe É Uma Parte‘ TV series – which would be shown by Globoplay and had four seasons confirmed. The streaming did not confirm how many episodes were filmed and whether the series will air.

The actor had already confirmed that he had invited Marieta Severo to play Dona Hermínia’s mother in the series.

Creator of Dona Hermínia and several other emblematic characters, Paulo had been hospitalized since March 13 at the Copa Star hospital, in Copacabana, in the southern zone.
He was 42 years old and has two one-year-old children, Romeu and Gael, and her husband, Doctor Thales Bretas, with whom he has been married since December 2015.
