‘Peacemaker’: James Gunn reveals when new trailer for spinoff series will release

Via his Twitter, filmmaker James Gunn (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) has revealed that the new trailer for “Peacemaker”, a spinoff series of “The Suicide Squad”, will be released on January 1.

“Get ready! The new trailer for ‘Peacemaker’ will be released on January 1,” he said.

Production will launch on the platform on January 13.

The series will explore the origins of the character played by John Cena, a man who believes in peace at all costs, no matter how many people he has to kill for it.

James Gunn signs the script for the series, in addition to commissioning several episodes.

The cast also includes Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Nhut Le and Freddie Stroma, as well as the return of Steve Agee and Jennifer Holland, who will reprise their roles in the film.
