Although it was recently carried over to the United States and Brazil, the children’s comedy “Pedro Coelho 2: The Fugitive” is proving to be a real hit in Australia.

The film has already grossed $ 13.5 million domestically, reclaiming the top spot at the box office in its fourth weekend, with $ 2.2 million.

In total, the production has already raised US $ 14.7 million internationally, but it’s worth mentioning that the film has yet to premiere in major film markets.

In the United States, Sony Pictures scheduled the feature film’s premiere on June 18.

The announcement came shortly after Paramount Pictures changed “Top Gun: Maverick” to “A Night of Crime 5” on July 2 – the weekend “Pedro Coelho 2” was scheduled to debut.
