‘Perry Mason’: Tatiana Maslany leaves the cast of season 2

According to TV Line, Tatiana Maslany (‘Orphan Black‘) has left the cast of season 2 of ‘Perry Mason’.

Reports indicate that HBO has confirmed the actress’s departure from production, stating that “the Sister Alice arc ended as planned in the first season.”

New episodes still don’t have a premiere date.

Created by Ron Fitzgerald and Rolin Jones, the series is a reboot of the eponymous series released in the 1960s.

Set in 1932, in Los Angeles, the plot follows a defense lawyer who gets the case of his life.

The cast includes Matthew Rhys, Jedediah Jenk, Nick La Croix, Tatiana Maslany and Drew Walton.

“Perry Mason” was shown between 1957 and 1966 and was established as one of the first series to explore the legal world on television. Produced by broadcaster CBS, it arrived in Brazil, via Rede Record, in the 1960s. With nine seasons, the production had 271 episodes of one hour each.
