‘Pose’ MJ Rodriguez releases his first official single; Listen to “Something to Say”!

On June 4, acclaimed actress MJ Rodriguez, also known by her stage name Michaela Jaé, released her first official song.

Entitled “Something to Say”, the disco-dance track called on the sound engineer Neal Pogue and the legendary musician Verdine White, member of the famous group Earth, Wind & Fire.

The song is now available on all digital platforms.


Recalling that Rodriguez returns under the name Blanca Evangelista for the last episode of the series ‘Pose’, which will air today June 6.

In the plot, “When Blanca finds out that an HIV testing clinic is denying people of color access, she joins ACTUP to get the Pray Tell drugs.”

Created by Ryan Murphy, Steven Canals and Brad Falchuk, the series made history with the largest cast of transgender actors in American television history and the largest LGBTQ cast of a series ever produced.

In ‘Pose’, people experience a lifestyle never before seen in New York history: the rise of luxury culture in the late 1980s. Paradoxically, the part of society who enjoys increased consumption and privileges conflicts with the other segment, which faces the downtown social and literary scene.

The cast includes MJ Rodriguez, Dominique Jackson, Billy Porter, Indya Moore, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Hailie Sahar, Angelica Ross and Angel Bismark Curiel.
