Despite a very similar story to our current time, a series released by HBO Max has won over critics and received 97% approval on Rotten Tomatoes.

The ambitious post-apocalyptic series ‘Station Eleven’, or ‘Station Eleven’, has seen its first three episodes released on HBO Max.

In the general consensus of critics, “Station Eleven rewards patient viewers with an intelligent and thematically rich plot that shows that even in the post-apocalypse, the show must go on.”

In the post-apocalyptic plot, a mysterious flu has devastated humanity. In a futuristic and devastated scenario, several groups of people, in different timelines, try to rebuild the world, keeping what is still good in the human being.

The cast includes Mackenzie Davis (Kirsten), Hamish Patel (Jeevan), David Wilmot (Clark), Nabhaan Rizwan (Frank), Philippine Velge (Alexandra), Daniel Zovatto (The Prophet), Lori Petty (The Conductor), Gael García Bernal (Arthur), Caitlin FitzGerald (Elizabeth) and Danielle Deadwyler (Miranda).
