‘Reminiscence’: sci-fi starring Hugh Jackman gets new premiere date

Originally slated for April, Warner Bros. has finally announced the new start date for the sci-fi thriller “Reminiscence”, which stars Hugh Jackman (“Logan”).

In the United States, the film will be released simultaneously in theaters and on the HBO Max platform on September 3.

“Westworld” co-creator Lisa Joy will make her directorial debut.

The plot follows Nick Bannister (Jackman), a private-minded investigator, who navigates the dark and alluring world of the past, helping his clients access lost memories. Living on the outskirts of Miami’s sunken coast, his life changes forever when he accepts a new client, Mae (Rebecca Ferguson). A simple matter of lost and found becomes a dangerous obsession. As Bannister struggles to uncover the truth about Mae’s disappearance, he uncovers a violent conspiracy and must answer the question: how far would you go to keep those you love?

The cast also includes Thandie Newton, Cliff Curtis, Marina de Tavira, Daniel Wu, Mojean Aria, Brett Cullen, Natalie Martinez, Angela Sarafyan and Nico Parker.
