“ Rua do Fear ”: the Netflix trilogy will be for adults only!

Shortly after revealing the trailer and poster for the “ Rua do Medo ” trilogy, adapted from the namesake writings of the legendary RL Stine, it was confirmed that the films would be rated higher (rated-R) .

The information was confirmed by Stine himself.

“Fans of ‘Rua do Medo’ will be very happy – and will have several surprises. Readers know that books are rated PG. But the movies will be for adults. It means a lot more fear – and a lot more terror! “He commented in an official statement.

Rua do Fear: 1994 – Part 1: July 2
Rua do Fear: 1978 – Part 2: July 9
Rua do Fear: 1666 – Part 3: July 16

‘Rua do Fear: 1994’: During the corollaries of a brutal tragedy in Shadyside, Ohio, a group of teenagers discover that a series of horrific events that have befallen the city may not be simple accidents – and they could be the next victims.

“Rua do Fear: 1978”: Camp Nightwing is divided between campers and counselors who hail from thriving Sunnyside and those who hail from grim Shadyside. However, when the horrors behind their cities come to life, they must come together to unravel a terrible mystery before it’s too late.

“Rua do Medo: 1666”: A colonial town is embroiled in a hysterical witch hunt that has had deadly consequences for centuries. In 1994, it was up to a group of teenagers to end the curse.

The cast consists of Gillian Jacobs, Sadie Sink, Ashley Zuckerman, Fred Hechinger, Jeremy Ford, Julia Rehwald, Kiana Madeira, Olivia Welch and Ryan Simpkins.

Madeira and Welch will be a lesbian couple who will attempt to navigate a troubled relationship while facing the unexplained horrors of the small town of Shadyside. Madeira and Welch would bring two very different characters to life – one from the 1990s and one from the 17th century – and would appear in every movie.

“Rua do Fear” is a teen horror book series that began in 1989. The novels are less well known than the compiled predecessor, “Goosebumps”. The franchise currently has 52 pounds in Shadyside, Ohio.
