The long-awaited sequel to “Scream” is one of the highlights of the new edition of Total Film magazine, which brings details on the upcoming production, as well as new images.
And what has caught the most attention is the part in which co-director Tyler Gillett reveals that they are already making new films in the franchise after the fifth:
“This new cast of characters is so wonderful. The cast of the Legacy is so wonderful. I think what we found, and what [os roteiristas] guy [Busick] and Jacques [Vanderbilt] fact is, they’ve found a real reason for the next story to exist. We know there is more gasoline in the tank. There are more stories to tell in Woodsboro, and about these characters of course.
In other words, ‘Scream 6’ is a possibility.
In the same post, Neve Campbell revealed details about the plot of the fifth film:
“Sidney is a mother now,” Campbell revealed. “So she has another level of strength as a woman. She lives outside of her hometown. She lives far from Woodsbooro. And she has a happy life. And that’s all I can say, ”he revealed.
The actress also shares how she was convinced to return to the fifth film.
“I thought I left Sidney behind when we lost Wes. I dreaded the idea of Panic being revived by someone else. When the movie came out, I was like, ‘Oh no!’ And then I watched Bloody Marriage, and I realized that the directors were superbly talented, and their film was definitely in the tone of the films in the franchise.
