‘Scream’ will woo fans of the franchise, reveals Kyle Gallner

During an interview with Collider, Kyle Gallner (‘Outsiders’) commented on the new film in the franchise ‘Scream’ and ensured that the sequel will appeal to fans of the original.

“When it comes to sequels or remakes, I’m the first to say, ‘Yeah, you know I have my doubts’ … But it’s not, I thought the script was awesome. . [de ‘Pânico‘] because it reproduces the magic of the original film. Whoever liked the original will also like this one.

The star also revealed that he was interested in the project because he liked director Tyler Gilett’s work on “Bloody Wedding”.

“I have a lot of confidence in Tyler because I loved ‘Bloody Marriage’ and have known him for many years. I’m sure this movie is going to be good so I’m really excited. The cast is amazing, the veterans and the rookies are so talented and I couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of this journey.

The first film in the franchise opened in 1996 and became an instant revolutionary classic that mixed elements of slasher horror with cinematic metalanguage. Paramount Pictures is releasing “Scream” in Brazil on January 13, 2022, the day before the North American premiere.
