“Snake Kai”: will season 5 be the last? The producer responds!
Late last year, ‘Cobra Kai’ producer and showrunner Josh Herald revealed that Netflix had only ordered five seasons for the series.
With the 4th premiere on December 31, many fans are wondering if the “Karate Kid” spin-off is coming to an end.
During an interview with Screen Rant, Herald was asked about the subject and reassured fans.
Despite the end of the contract with the streaming platform, he believes the partnership will be extended and explains that there are still many stories to tell.
“We have more to say beyond Season 5. We don’t write 5th like it’s the end of the story. You know what? I couldn’t believe we filmed two seasons of the show this year. In our mind, it’s crazy to believe how far we are ahead of what audiences are going to see in season 4. “

It should be remembered that Season 4 will explore Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny (William) reuniting for the first time and setting aside a rivalry that has spanned more than three decades to end the plans of John Kreese (Martin Kove). .

COBRA KAI takes place 30 years after the 1984 All Valley tournament, and the inevitable conflict between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) continues.
