‘Sonic 2’: know when filming starts and when the movie opens

According to the British Columbia Film Commission, Paramount Pictures plans to begin filming on the sequel to “ Sonic the Movie ” in the first half of 2021, from March 15 to May 10.

The film received an “Emerald Hill” production title.

On his Twitter profile, Ben Schwartz announced that the sequel to “ Sonic the Movie ” will be released on April 8, 2022.

Recalling that the film will have the return of director Jeff Fowler and screenwriters Pat Casey and Josh Miller.

Jim Carrey is also set to reprise his role as the villainous Robotnik, and the sequel will feature Tails, one of Sonic’s friends.
