‘Spider-Man 3’: Andrew Garfield denies rumors about his involvement in the sequel

A few months ago, the Collider guaranteed that Andrew Garfield and Alfred Molina were confirmed in the cast of the upcoming “ Spider-Man ” movie, titled “ Spiderman: No Way Home ”.

And Molina has already confirmed that he will be playing Dr. Octopus again, the role he played in “ Spider-Man 2, ” directed by Sam Raimi in 2004.

However, Garfield gave an interview to the Happy Sad Confused podcast and denied participating in the sequel.

Asked about the possibility, he laughed and said:

“Dude, that’s hilarious for c # r # lh * because I use Twitter and see ‘Spider-Man’ mentioned frequently. People are going crazy because of it. I recommend that they lower their expectations as I haven’t received any calls about this. “

He continued:

“I can only speak for myself, not for the dozens of rumors that crop up. They might do it [o ‘Aranhaverso‘], but I will not be a part, otherwise I would have already been called for the recordings. That’s all I can say. “

So do you think he’s losing fans or will his meeting with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker continue to be imaginary?

Enjoy watching:

Recalling that Garfield last acted as a hero in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ (2014) and was replaced from the role when Sony and Marvel chose Holland to play Web Head in ‘Captain America: Civil War ”.

Although Holland has also denied Garfield’s involvement, an image posted by a fan page focusing on the news of the sequel reveals otherwise.

The image is part of a commemorative kit for the end of the recordings, and one of those gifts shows a custom stocking of the hero wearing an identical costume Garfield wore in “ The Amazing Spider-Man 2. ”

Another shows the costume used in the first film.

Additionally, a Twitter user revealed that William Spencer, Garfield’s stuntman in “ The Amazing Spider-Man 2, ” worked alongside Greg Townley, the Dutch stuntman from “ Spider-Man: Homecoming. ”.

In the post, the user showed an impression of Spencer’s Instagram, which appears in a chroma setting and mentions Townley in the caption.

“Challenge of the day with a few stuntmen. Ben Jenkin didn’t show up because he was too fast before being photographed by Greg Townley, ”Spencer wrote.

The curious thing is that he removed the post from his profile after some started to speculate about his participation in ‘Spider-Man 3’.
