“Spider-Man 3”: Andrew Garfield IMPROVISED one of the movie’s most memorable scenes; Know which one!

“Spider-Man: No Return Home” brought several references to the hero’s previous films due to appearances by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

As fans already know, the stars also brought Peter Parker to life in films directed by Sam Raimi and Marc Webb respectively.

And Garfield’s enthusiasm for reprising the role was pretty visible on the big screen, especially when he told Maguire and Tom Holland’s Spiders he loves them.

Even Garfield revealed to Variety that this line wasn’t in the script, but he ended up improvising because he wanted to express the sentiment when acting with co-workers.

“Do you know when my Peter says ‘I love you’ to Peter # 1 and Peter # 2?” This sentence was an improvisation so that I was by their side. The feeling was real, it was just me expressing my love for them.

For the star, there was a very strong chemistry and true brotherhood between the three as they got together for the first time in Spider-Man history.

Behind the scenes, screenwriter Chris McKenna even said that Garfield really looks like the younger brother.

While Tobey took a more directing and observant stance, Holland showed a more adventurous and emotional spirit.

And Garfield was the right fit between the two, as the one who was always trying to get other people’s attention.

Previously, McKenna spoke to The Hollywood Reporter and explained that Garfield wanted to take his character down a darker path.

That’s because the star believed Peter was still ravaged by grief and guilt over the death of Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone).

“The last time you saw Andrew Garfield’s Peter, he was trying to get over Gwen’s death, and it must have sent him down a dark spiral, maybe he never came out of it.” Andrew was willing to explore this because we don’t know the answer as there wasn’t a third movie. We wanted to be true to the characters in those movies and it was essential to talk about what they would be, without giving too much away.

The filmmaker said Andrew liked the idea and you can see these developments at certain points in the film, when he watches Tom Holland’s Peter with MJ (Zendaya), and especially when he saves her from a fall.

“This dark part was essential for Tom’s Peter to have someone to admire. Andrew and Tobey are also in pain, they have been through it. [pela dor da perda]. They became beacons for Tom in the midst of the darkness he lived, ”he concluded.

So what did you think of Garfield and Tobey Maguire’s involvement in the sequel?
