The covers of “Spider-Man: No Back Home” will debut at Sunset Gower Studios in Los Angeles, and Kirsten Dunst was photographed a few feet from the set.

The actress played Mary Jane Watson in the Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi trilogy.

The friend next to her was even mistaken for Deborah Ann Woll, Karen in the “Daredevil” series, who denied being her.

According to journalist Daniel Ritchman, director Sam Raimi was responsible for the return of Alfred Molina and Kirsten Dunst as Dr. Octopus and Mary Jane Watson in the upcoming Spider-Man movie on the MCU.

Raimi, director of the first Webhead trilogy, helped convince the stars to reprise their roles by mentioning that he would serve as a sort of consultant in the Jon Watts-directed sequel.

It is not revealed how Andrew Garfield joined the cast, but it is possible that Raimi encouraged Marvel Studios to involve all film versions of the hero to compose Spiderverse.

Additionally, Ritchman has indicated that the events of “WandaVision” and “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” will be directly related to “Spider-Man 3”.

This latest revelation is hardly a surprise, considering Benedict Cumberbatch’s appearance in the sequel.

The film is expected to follow Peter Parker’s new battle after being publicly exposed by J. Jonah Jameson at the end of “Spider-Man: Away from Home”.

The sequel’s premiere is still scheduled for December 17, 2021, but the release may be affected due to the postponement of production (previously slated to debut in July).

In addition to the return of Tom Holland as the main character, Zendaya will reprise his role as MJ.
