‘Spider-Man: Sem Volta Para Casa’ brought several important moments to the trajectory of Peter Parker (Tom Holland).

Sadly, the hero ended up losing his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) after the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) attacked her, but he also encountered other versions of himself and helped heal the villains of ‘other universes.

In an interview with Discussing Film, writers Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers revealed that the film will have even bigger moments.

However, some scenes had to be cut to focus on Peter’s emotional development.

“While we were writing this film, there were a lot of painful decisions made along the way. we would have loved to do this and that and it would be great if such villains could do more than what was seen, ”Sommers said. “At the end of the day, this is a movie about the emotional evolution of Spider-Man – you have to tell the Peter Parker story, and everything has to be in service of that. There were definitely a lot of ‘cherished moments’. And things that you would really love – but sometimes you have to leave them for another opportunity. “

He continued:

“In addition to the trajectory of Peter, what we wanted to do the most was to honor the work of Sam Raimi and Marc Webb [diretores dos filmes anteriores o herói] and I’m glad we did. We would be happy to bring you more references. [desses filmes], but we weren’t able to insert overkill fan service, so we’re happy with the outcome.

Previously, the filmmakers spoke with FandomWire and were asked if they should come back to write “Spider-Man 4,” to which Sommers replied:

“This is ground on which we have not yet walked. We can neither affirm nor deny it because we still do not know anything. Before the creative part comes the logistics part, and we are not included in that.

He continued:

“As far as I know, I am not aware of any future projects in progress. That doesn’t mean they don’t exist, but they haven’t spoken to us yet. I certainly hope so. I love Tom as Spider-Man. Hope there are more. Chris and I would love to be involved. But at this point, we don’t know anything.

A few days ago, Sony producer Amy Pascal spoke to The New York Times and said the hero’s next movie shouldn’t focus on the “show” and adding grandiose characters like that. occurs in “No Return Home”.

Instead, the upcoming feature film will have quality and emotion as its pillars.

“Not all Spider-Man movies will have a multitude of characters. That approach was right for this movie, but we can’t expect it in everyone. You can’t think of outdoing yourself in terms of spectacle. Otherwise the movies get bigger and bigger for no reason and that doesn’t work well, what we want is to overcome the quality and emotional issues.

She also said that the studio’s main focus was to explore Peter Parker’s late teens and how he would deal with the aftermath of “No Go Home”.

“What is Kevin [Feige] and I don’t want to lose sight of the fact that Peter Parker is a normal kid. Now he is an orphan. How is he going to deal with this in his late teens? Everything in your life is on the rise and what is happening here and now matters more than anything. He is driven by kindness and guilt, fighting for a greater cause, and is vilified by the press. It’s a lot of stuff to deal with at the same time and there’s a lot of potential there.

Recalling that Pascal has already revealed that Sony and Marvel are developing a new trilogy of heroes with the return of Tom Holland in the lead role.

While promoting the new film Webhead, the actor appeared on a French talk show and avoided revealing details about the character’s future.

Regardless, he said he was eager to see what lay in store for the hero’s future.

“All I can say is we have some very, very exciting things to discuss. I still don’t know what these things are or what they can mean. But it looks like we have an incredibly bright future, and like I said, Spider-Man will live on in me forever.
