Tobey Maguire has been out of theaters for 7 years, since he starred in ‘The Owner of the Game’ (2014).

Known in Hollywood for his explosive temper, the actor is said to pose problems for Sony and Marvel during negotiations to return in ‘Spider-Man 3’.

According to journalist Daniel Richtman, Maguire is behaving like a “diva” and demanding more money and increased screen time, which would likely be more than the $ 15 million the actor originally requested.

The 46-year-old star has yet to be confirmed in the squad and remains an uncertainty.

Alfred Molina has had his return as Dr. Octopus confirmed, and Collider has stated that Andrew Garfield and Kirsten Dunst are already confirmed in the cast. Garfield played Peter Parker in both “ The Spectacular Spider-Man, ” while Dunst played Mary Jane Watson in Sam Raimi’s original trilogy.

In addition to Tom Holland’s return as the titular character, Zendaya will reprise his role as MJ. And it’s very likely that a large chunk of the cast will return as well, including Marisa Tomei and Jacob Batalon.
